I’ve been programming for a long time. Worked on my first program in Basic in 1980, on a Commodore Pet computer. I picked up 6502 assembly in 1984, followed by LOGO, C, and Pascal. Ah, simple days.

I’ve been writing code professionally since 1989, first in the military, then in the civilian world. I’ve worked across many industries: Payments, Direct Sales Management, Medical Records, Gaming, Trade Shows Mgmt, E-Commerce and straight up web design and development.

I’ve done work on a wicked number of products using a wide range of languages. I’ve developed desktop applications (C, C++, C#, VB, Java, Typescript/Electron, QT, Objective-C and Rust/Tauri), peripheral drivers (C), mainframe applications (ADA, Cobol, Fortran 90, ECL, Mapper), video games (C++), mobile apps (Java & Swift, ReactNative) and web applications & workers (PHP/Laravel, Javascript/TypeScript, Go, React).

Heck, man, I’ve even found a way to enjoy Python (AI driven agent for phone bill collection, OCR scanner, Video generation and processing). Never thought I’d see the day that’d happen, but it seems all the best AI tools are python centric. So there it is.
